God is more powerful than anything in the world. He is so much greater than any adversity we may face. Any waves that threaten to crush us. But so often, even though we know in our minds that is true, we choose to doubt. We worry. We fear. We get anxious. We insist on taking control instead of trusting Him. Instead of believing that His way and His time are always the best.

We need to get hold of the truth pictured here. No matter how big the waves . . . no matter how impossible things may seem . . . if we will put our hand in His and truly trust Him, He will walk us through.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
