One of my favorite verses. When I am upset . . . worried . . . anxious . . . this scripture reminds me to get quiet and remember He is God. He is my shelter, my defender, my father, my savior, my all. And He has everything under control.

On January 22, 2023January 16, 2023 By Karen WeigandIn faith, God's timing, trust GodLeave a comment

At a recent seniors gathering at our church, the speaker asked us to consider the difference between What If? and Even If? That hit me like a bolt of lightning. No Wave Too Big

God is more powerful than anything in the world. He is so much greater than any adversity we may face. Any waves that threaten to crush us. But so often, even though we know in our minds that is true, we choose to doubt. We worry. We fear. We get anxious. We insist on taking …

Too often we miss the joys . . . and the opportunities . . . of today because we are worried about tomorrow. How that must sadden God's heart. He has already taken care of tomorrow. My grandson once wrote about embracing the journey. We need to embrace the journey of each day, accomplishing all …
