Devotions for Kids

“Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

How do we do that? In our world today right has become wrong and wrong has become right. People are encouraged to do their own thing. To set their own standards. How can we direct our children onto the right path with the turmoil they are exposed to each day?

First, of course, we must set an example. They need to see us putting Jesus above all else. Pouring out unconditional love on them and others. Using the Bible as our standard. And admitting when we go wrong.

Pray for them and with them. And teach them God’s Word. One way to do that is to lead them in a daily devotional. There are many available. On Find Christian Links you can Keys for Kids podcast (from Keys for Kids Ministries). I hope you will consider visiting them daily.

And while you are visiting Find Christian Links, please check out my page of Christian Links for Kids. Find DVDs, games, puzzles and so much more to delight you children and teach them about Jesus. Many of the sites offer free activities and downloads. Some sell books, DVDs, etc. Homeschooling parents–you’ll find lots of resources here too!
